glass diffuser, i was finding it grand till the green water prob jp. its not as noticeiable as the rest of them and they give off tiny bubbles instead of large ones. if its placed under the water flow the bubbles mix better with in the water so more c02 dissolves into it. only problem is the price. exspensive for what they are and the rest of the stuff like lily pipes and input pipes are a rediculus price, some pipes reach from €90-€200. the one ou see i think was about €20 but the smaller ones for smaller tanks are a little less.

the colored marbled plant is Echinodorus 'ozolot' one of the very few easy to grow colored plants, along with its sister plant 'red flame' i will place it in the plant profiles.

since my last post here thngs have been up and down quite a bit. once the tank had cleared up things wet well for about a week, then one wc altered it all over again. i aded tropica liq fert and cor blimey was going back to square one again, by the evening the white cloud had started to form again. by the followin day it as getting worse, so i took a chance..... i did a a large wc and a two day black out, it still hasnt fully cleared up yet but each wc it is getting better. i now also have stocked up with fish, 3 rainbows, 15 neons, 4 shrimp all from the other tank and 5 angels(new) even with al these fish i still havnt got any spike, even nitrAte = 0.
has any one had any like wise problems with tropica ferts? i have used this in the other tank without any probs. also i think i have a calcium problem as some but not all plants have curled leaves and showing a white under leaf, is there any way i can add calcium and if so can i over dose if i get it wrong?

i think i have got the gw problem sorted. ;D i finaly got the c02 injection set up and installed it last tuesday. although the c02 checker was telling me the c02 level was ok it was green. within 24 hrs the water was crystal clear and still is at the moment. the c02 checker turned yellow(to much) and was woried that i was going to ph crash and concerned for the fish so turned it off for a day and re-introduced more slowly. all fish are grand and c02 levels are normal again. ph has now dropped to 6.8 which what i was aiming for. the plants need trimming and a good tidy up is needed but not going in to quick so i dont upset the stats. i have slight hair algae on the ground plants but keping watch on it.
