jp the pen works a treat, especially when color blind like me the only prob with them is they need calibrating every 2/3 weeks bit of a pain if you 4get and start a test haha

So u reckon it's worth investing in one then. Because I'm having to test that planted tank of mines quite a lot. Using the chemical Ph test is becoming a bit of a pain.

think everyone tends to over check at the start, myself inclueded, but once it settles down you wont check so much. i hadnt checked the small tank for 6/8 weeks. when i did wc last week i checked and all ok. but the pens are great, no messing with liquid, just stick it in and way hay.

sorry jp cant find it. the link i gave is from the company i got mine from and just seen the pic and posted, the pic is exactly the same as my ph meter which was £17 = €28 when i got it but cant find ph pen on there sight similar to mine.
