Here's a couple of photos of my first flower from my Echinodorus cordifolius 'Tropica Marble Queen' I now also have a second flowering shoot growing from the same plant. so there will be lots of flowers, to look forward too. I seem to have small leaves growing from these flowering shoots, would it be possible to take cuttings and grow these as new plants in the tank?

Its been a while since i posted any updates on my planted tank. The tank is doing great it looks like a small jungle in there. Tons of growth. The neons are doing great too, infact one of them have fatten right up, must be carrying a lot of eggs. some baby neons in the future would be nice. I'll post some more pictures soon when i get a chance.

I have been running this little planted tank since February to test how well laterite substrate, co2 injection and regular fertilization works. I have been very impressed with it. Almost no algae growth, Plants grow quick, strong and look very healthy. So i will turn my display tank into a dedicated planted tank at the first opportunity i get. But this a little tank is going to get turned back into a breeding tank. I'll transplant fish and what plants i can into my other tanks. Its been fun looking after this little tank and i would encourage all fish keepers to give planted tanks a try. ;D
