most certainly are jp. i had 12 in the 240L and moved 4 of them into the 60L as i was starting to grow the green stuff as usual 24hrs later not a sign of it left. they mainly go for the green/brown type algae on the leaves and the glass. SAEs of which i got 6 of the other week go more for the thread type algae.

Hi tf101owner, I don't think convicts would be a good mix with Otto's, I don't think they would eat them but they would certainly be aggressive towards the Otto's. Convict's can and will harass some fish to death. You would need to go for some other larger fish that could hold it's own with the convict's.

will have a look and see what i can find. just thinkig aloud but may be a pleco or S.A.Es would be better if the ottos dont fit the bill.
